Five Panels

This is my most recent design and far and away the most complex piece I've created, both in the internal construction required to make it work and the movement that results from all the internal construction.  It's the culmination of many of the techniques I've been working on for years.  Yet despite the heavy, almost brutalist appearance of the rotating elements, Five Panels is very response to a light wind and seems to be at it's best esthetically in moderate conditions.

The panel style of design will lend itself to many design extensions.  I have similar pieces already planned with that rely on squares, circles and more organic shapes.
